Gone is the bullseye on Larson’s #42 Chevy | Sports

Say goodbye to a familiar car design in NASCAR. A few months back Target Stores announced it would end its sponsorship of cars throughout motor sports. Its bullseye logo was paired the past three years with Elk Grove driver Kyle Larson on the hood of his No. 42 Chevrolet race car and about anything printed about that Chip Ganassi Racing team.

But, the bullseye has now gone the way of the Tide logo and the STP logo on stockcars. New to Ganassi and Larson’s car, specifically, is a pretty white to blue gradient paint scheme thanks to new sponsor, First Data.

“It’s great to see another new brand join our team,” Larson said recently. “We’ve had such an exciting season so far, and we’re really glad to see First Data grow their relationship with the team and be a part of what’s happening at Chip Ganassi Racing.
